Our Business Development Team continue to look for ways that we can provide training and employment opportunities for all who wish to grow and develop in their personal and professional life.
One of the keys to the success of our business is collaborating with other organisations who share the same passion to change lives through education.
At Auctus we build long lasting and trusting relationships with training providers and employers alike, through these relationships we are better placed to offer learners the opportunities to kick start or enhance their existing career.
Auctus Training & Education, TAFE SA and the Australian Migrant Resource Centre (AMRC) have joined forces to offer some incredible pathways for migrants who are looking for employment and training opportunities.
Our program includes a tailored pathway into the care industry, not only for those interested in support work but also the chance to gain employment in administration or other areas of the care sector.
We value and celebrate what diversity brings to our workplaces, our team at Auctus alone have nine nationalities amongst our ranks. We learn from each other, bring food to share and sometimes have a giggle about the different ways we may perceive the environment around us.
It is important to remember that migrants are coming to Australia with incredible transferable skills and often years of professional experience which is not given the deserved recognition. Often this means some struggle to get interviews because they don’t have any “experience in Australia.” How is experience to be gained if we do not offer the provisions or recognition?
Our program concentrates on developing skills for migrants to feel comfortable in the Australian workplace, focusing on social norms, communication and the written skills required for success.
By combining Foundation Skills and Accredited Units of Competency, TAFE SA and Auctus Training & Education are providing learning opportunities to anyone who wishes to build a career within the care industry.
Together with the incredible support from the Australian Resource Migrant Centre and funding from the South Australian Government we are very proud to bring such opportunities to our much-valued migrants who choose Australia to be their home.
